In the midst of interweaving planetary crises, it is important to resource ourselves from our deepest ground for our actions to be sustainable and wise.
In this six-week training, you’ll experience the foundational frameworks and practices to support your well-being, awaken to your essential wholeness, and up-level your capacity for skillful collaboration and wise action.
Empowering Our Capacity to Respond Wisely without Burning Out
This six week program offers a transformative experience to reorient from trying to fix and change yourself and the world, to opening to your deepest knowing, creativity, and resourcefulness.
We start with the basic framework of your basic wholeness and goodness. Next, you’ll learn some of the specific tools of parts work to empower you in navigating emotional resilience. These practices extend to a form of wise leadership, that can be expressed in your communications and collaborations with others.
Facilitated by Lisa Ferguson, Ph.D
Lisa is the founder of Climate Compassion, and has focused on supporting planetary wellbeing as a healing arts practitioner, climate justice activist, organizer and contemplative. She offers psychospiritual support to activists through one-one sessions and small groups, weaving together a focus on awakening, healing and wise action.
Overview of our 6 Weeks:
Each session will include meditations or contemplative practices, a presentation or talk, an experiential practice, and group interaction.
Week 1: Leading from Essential Wholeness vs. Striving for Self-Improvement
Get off the treadmill of self-improvement and rest in a recognition of your wholeness
Discover simple meditative practices that reveal your essence
Week 2: Introduction to Parts Work - An Empowering Approach to Self-Care
Learn basic principles of the empowering and effective approach of Parts Work to address challenging emotions (burnout, grief, fear, anger, numbness)
Week 3: Deepen in Parts Work for Wellbeing
Discover different types of parts and how to work with them
Week 4: “Self-Leadership” - Leading from Wholeness
Engage in practices to listen to your inner wisdom for wise action
Week 5: Reducing Conflict by Addressing Inner and Outer Polarizations
Deepen in compassion and specific practices for healing polarizations
Week 6: Unburdening
Unburden overwhelming emotions and core mistaken beliefs

These trainings create a space for community to emerge that is deep, compassionate, joyful and welcoming of all of our parts. In order to support this, I do ask for a few group agreements that you will be expected to adhere to, such as confidentiality, treating each member of our group with respect, showing up on time, and letting me know if you can’t make a session.
